Altar Servers: Adult/Youth
The Altar Servers assist the priest at Mass by preparing the altar, carrying the cross and holding the prayer book. This is open to boys and girls from 5th grade through high school. Periodic training sessions are held throughout the year, as needed. Adult servers are used for daily Mass and funerals.

Choirs/Music Ministry
At St. Bonaventure, we have several choirs, cantors and accompanists. Those who have been blessed with a musical talent (voice/instrument) are encouraged to share that gift with the parish family by joining one of the choirs or volunteering to lead the congregation in prayer through music during Mass.
Call 402-564-7151, for more information or to volunteer.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
These ministers are entrusted with the special responsibility of distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass. They should be in good standing with the Church and have a special devotion to the Eucharist. A special training and mandation are required. They also welcome parishioners to Mass. Some distribute Holy Communion to the homes of parishioners who are unable to attend Mass and some also take Holy Communion to the hospital and nursing homes. Download the current directives here. Contact St. Bonaventure Office, 402-564-7151.
Lector: Adult or Youth
Our parish lectors proclaim the word of God at Mass during the Liturgy of the Word. They should be in good standing with the Church and have the ability to speak clearly while proclaiming the Word of God. A special training and delegation are required. Contact St. Bonaventure Office, 402-564-7151.
Greeters/Ushers
Greeters/Ushers are the face of St. Bons, welcoming parishioners and guests to our Masses. They are responsible for the seating and well being of congregants before, during and after Mass. They also take up the collection and pass out bulletins after Mass. Contact St. Bonaventure Office, 402-564-7151.
